The heartbeat of The Bee Commander is saving and protecting honeybees. One of the ways we accomplish this is to safely remove hives/swarms from unwanted places. Since our very first removal in January of 2018, The Bee Commander has removed/rescued hundreds of hives (along with many bumblebee hives) many times traveling over 200 miles to get them.
Removals from homes and businesses require a lot of hard work. Sheetrock, carpet, flooring, vinyl siding, bricks, stucco, wood and many other materials have to be professionally removed to get to the hive. Materials then need to be put back/replaced correctly and properly sealed to prevent future honeybees from re-entering the area.
Having over 25 years of remodeling/construction experience, this was right up my alley. I WAS HOOKED! This was a perfect way to save honeybees and grow our hive numbers.
